My Digital Entrepreneurship Journey!
Besides been an expert Seo/Web Designer, my first attempt at digital entrepreneurship was starting and growing a fitness blog. Staying fit (physically and mentally) is so important to me and that’s why I chose to write about it.
I decided to go into freelance WordPress Consulting during the pandemic after losing my full time web design job which also made me sell my first and only blog at that time.
My priorities changed from working hard to complete multiple web design projects to making sure that every website I built is effectively optimized to serve as a leads and revenue generating tool rather than a static online brochure.
Now, I am focused on not just building websites for my clients, but ensuring that each website is set up, automated and optimised in the best ways possible to turn your web visitors into customers and clients.
That was also a turning point for me because I was able to:
- Turn my web design skills to a full time WordPress consultancy business.
- Start multiple niche blogs (with my wife) that generate revenue from ads, digital products and affiliates.
- Start and grow an e-commerce store that sells both digital and physical productivity accessories and stationeries.
- Create free tutorials to help business owners learn how to optimize and make their websites work for them.
This means I don’t just take up client’s projects that align with my skill set, I also have the time to run and grow my own businesses.
